Premiere speeds up the audio playback in videos itself!

When I import a video into the project, the audio speeds up on its own. It's as if someone sped up the audio by 200%! What kind of artificial intelligence is this? I filmed an interview at a consistent frame rate. Half the files are normal, but the other half are sped up. This is a bad joke. Please fix it. 25-frame video, 25-frame project.
