Premiere suddenly not recognizing clips that are in my folders (can't locate)

I was about to wrap up my edit, when suddenly some clips in the timeline appeared offline. When I go to locate them, I can't see the original file through the Premiere locate window, yet the clips are there when I check in my Finder. I also tried to right click on the clips in the timeline and select "Link media", but the problem remains the same: when I select the folder that contains those clips, the folder appears empty from the Premiere window. What's happening? What can I do now? I have to post this video tomorrow morning!
