Premiere thinks media isn't attached at start up even if it is
This is a strange occurrence so bare with me as I try to explain it to the best of my ability. I'm working on two systems (iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017 Version 10.12.6 (16G29)) and transferring Pr (CC 2015) project files between the two via Adobe Cloud in a project shared folder. I have two raid 5 drives (one for each bay) that are identical in terms of the media and footage and proxies. When I work and make changes to a project in bay 1, I save then transfer the project file to bay 2. All of the media (because the drives are identical) connect and link automatically, no problem. However, when I open the project in bay 2, I get a "Link Media" prompt. If I cancel out of that prompt, the project opens up and all my media is attached. I don't know why I am getting the "Link Media" prompt if I'm not actually missing media.
This could be a small glitch but, so far I haven't seen any real problems to speak of, other than the annoyance of having to cancel out of the panel or even locate the media manually (which solves the problem, I know).
Could this be the way the media is filed? It's all 1080p media from (I think) a Canon C300 (not sure the Mark) and has a path of "Folder Name" > Date A01 > CONTENTS > CLIPS001 > AA070501.MXF.
One thing to note is that it only prompts me of missing media in bay 2 and not bay 1.
Anyone ever had this problem before?
Thanks!
