Premiere Timeline glitch

So I've got this weird timeline glitch, that has only happened to me on one specific sequence. Basically, I drag my clips onto the timeline and have them directly side by side with no space in between. When I pull two clips apart in the timeline, I find that the second clip has adopted (without the in/out points changing) the last few frames of the first clip. So you see those last few frames before the second clip actually plays. I have no idea why this is happening. My other sequences have not done this. Thoughts? Thanks!!
