Premiere version 13.1.5 (build 47) Audio from clips not working in source monitor and timeline

Hi there.

I have some clips in my project that work fine when I hear and see them in Finder, but when I import the files, the audio from clips don't work in source monitor and timeline.

When I solo one of the tracks it works (only the one that is playing) but when I unsolo it is not working. I am using two audio tracks and I need to use both of it.

I solo one of the tracks because I read this solution in other forums, but it is not enough to me.

I don't know what to do.

A couple other questions: What sort of media is it that you're working with? Do you see a waveform when you open it up in the source monitor or timeline? If in the timeline, does the audio meter register when you play? I was also curious as to whether you had your audio hardware setup right, but you said you can hear some things in the timeline when you solo a track?

I'm working with .mov full hd. The thing is that part of my footage didn't show this problem before. I see waveforms and audio levels (meter) in source monitor and timeline.

I've read some forums before and people were soloing tracks to listen to it. Thing is: I hear just a hiss, but when I solo one of the tracks (both have waveforms and meters working) I can hear it. If I unsolo it, it doesn't work. If I solo both of them, also it doesn't work.

I don't mind, right now, working that way (I'm still looking at a documentary material), but whenever I have to export, I don't know how it will work.
