Question

Premiere will not respond after resizing any panel of it's UI

The UI will scale/transform in a buggy way, my pointer turns into a spinner, (not responding) will appear in the program title. I cant switch to other running programs, and when I can, those other programs respond very slow, I get a temporary black screen.

What's wrong, how can I fix this? I've had this for a year now, on this device.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155U (1.70 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.4 GB usable)
Edition Windows 11 Home 24H2
OS build 26100.7462
Premiere Pro 25.6 (build 2)

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the issue. Could you please share the following details to help us better understand the issue?

Is there a dedicated GPU installed on your machine? If yes, which one?

1. Does it happen with a specific project or with specific media? Can you test with different footage on a new 2. project and see if the issue persists?

3. Are there any third-party plug-ins installed?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nishu

Hi nishu_kush,

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB (Laptop)

1. I've had this issue for over a year now, during different projects. So, yes it's not project or media specific.

2 I dont have third-party plug-ins.

I am having the same issue.  Premiere 2025 is basically unusable for me at this point.  I have spent the last hour trying to make two edits to my timeline.

PLEASE adobe, it is 2026 and premiere 2025 is unusable for me.  Please do not work on any new features until you have last years software in a usable state. THIS IS SHAMEFUL AND YOU SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED (but I know you're not) !
