Hello guys last week i made a videoshoot for a music video. The camera i used was Sony A7 iv and i made some shoots on the following modes. 4k 30fps on video mode and 1080p 120fps - 24fps rec on S&Q mode.Today i wanted to start editing them but once i import the 120fps - 24fps rec video on the timeline and i press play the video on the preview screen is stucked but the time keeps running.Once i stop the video the preview screen shows the frame that is on the video. The sequence is 24fps exactly like the video. It is the first time i see something like that.I am on mac and my premiere version is premiere cc. If anyone can help it would be more that great.!

P.S. sometimes once i push the play button the premiere crashes.

Probably the footage was recorded with an XAVC codec in 10 bit. That is *really* taxing on most any system. It's a long GOP codec that requires the computer to work really hard to recreate the frames in between key frames.

Please consider transcoding the clips to a friendlier editing codec such as Prores or consider a proxy workflow.

Hi Toso34448139bh0f!

Sorry about the issue. Does it happen with specific files? Have you tried other files? Can you share your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)?

Could you switch video renderer to "Software Only" and see if that helps?

Let us know.

Thanks,
KR
