Preview Monitor Goes Black!

I'm playing back an edit on my timeline, and whenever it comes across a certain point in the video the preview monitor turns black and stays black. I've updated my graphics card's firmware (Nvidia Ge-Force GTX 780) and updated to the latest Premiere so there's no updating I can do. The weird thing is, I was literally just working on this project last night and had no problems at all. And yes, I can get it to work by switching to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only, but that doesn't help much because it's not enough processing power to playback my edit. Anything I can do to fix this?

I switched to compatibility mode Windows 7 and photoshop elements 9 stopped going to black screen on preview.

Go to edit>preferences>Media Cache... click on 'Delete Unused' and change the setting to automatically delete cache files older than x days down to a reasonable amount of days, depending on the amount of videos you edit in a day. (Mine is set to 2 days because i edit a lot of video)

If it was all working fine and without any change to the program or media started doing this, it could be something went screwy in the media cache/cache database files. Find where PrPro stores those (Edit/Preferences) and close PrPro ... delete everything in those folders, reboot, relaunch PrPro, and see if that fixes the issue.

Just for clarification, Preview is on the left and called the Source Monitor.

Program in on the right and is called the Program Monitor.

Or are you referring to an external display connected for viewing in full screen?

Or, is it all three?
