Preview\playback in inverted colors

Hello,

I’m currently having an issue with the playback and the preview since it displays inverted colors. I already did basic troubleshooting (reinstalling, changing the project setting renderer, etc.) but still not working. For reference, I just updated the app to the newest version and I’m currently using a company restricted Citrix Workspace with the following specs:
RAM: 64GB
Storage: 512GB

Processor: AMD EPYC 9754 128
No graphics Card
Windows 11 Enterprise

NOTE: I have been using Premiere Pro in Citrix for 3 years now and this is the first time this happened. Any assistance would highly be appreciated.

Hi Jerome, thanks for the detailed context. The fact that it started after the recent update, and that you're running Premiere in a Citrix environment with no GPU, are both important clues.

A few things that would help narrow this down:

1. Your exact Premiere version before and after the update (Help > About). If you can recall the previous working version, that helps identify what changed.

2. Does the issue appear only in the Source and Program monitors (preview), or does the exported file also come out with inverted colors?

3. Does it happen with all media, or only specific file types/codecs?

4. Can you share a screenshot of what you see?

As an interim workaround, you could try rolling back to your previous Premiere version via Creative Cloud.
