Does anyone know if there is a way to preview a video in the import window on Windows 10?  It just shows a picture of the video but does not play like it used to in windows 7. Also if you’re on a mac spacebar let’s you quickly preview a video unlike windows 10. Thank you

If you use the Media Browser you can scrub before import.

    Import window?

I'm not able to figure out what you're referring to.

I know of project panel, media browser (where import/ingestion occurs) ... source, reference, and program monitors ... can't even think of an "import" window in the OS.

So ... a bit better description of what you're doing and looking for might be helpful.

Ahh ... have rarely used that, I just use the Media browser, there's more options there, ingesting/proxies & of course, scrubbing things.

No, Win10 doesn't allow scrubbing as far as I can tell in that window.
