Is Pro CC or CS6 best for me?  Am used to Elements, but want to upgrade. Not into the most advanced features - just filming as an amateur. Run windows 10.

And what is the subscribing price for each one of them? Or can I buy cs6?

CC all the way. CS6 is riddled with bugs and does not have nearly as many features as CC does that can make your life a lot easier.

You can get just Premiere Pro CC for $20 a month, or the whole Adobe suite for $50 a month.

When you buy a CC subscription, you also have access to previous versions, including CS6.

    Hi Rolfs,

As mentioned above, we are not selling CS6 anymore. If you still want CS6 you need to subscribe to Creative Cloud.

Please check the system specs for Premiere Pro here:

You can also try the free trial:

You need a much more robust computer to run Premiere Pro than Premiere Elements.

What are your system specs including hard drives?

I am running Windows 10, Intel Core i7 4790 LGA1150. 6 TB internal hard discs, and external discs with 1 and 2 TB each.

Change the external for internal drives and you will be ok. I edit with far less.

External drives (assuming they are usb2) are only good for archiving.

If you want good information about hardware; dont check Adobes System requirements link but visite the HardWare forum.

BTW i disagree on CS6 being full of bugs. It runs just fine on my machine.
