Problem Loading Premiere Elements Project Into Premiere Pro

I opened a Premiere Elements .prel (not sure of version) file in Premiere Pro and have encountered a problem.   The Premiere Pro file opens, but is frozen up. The video files in the original .prel file are all .VOB format.

When loading the project in Pr the following messages appear;

Video Filter missing: AE ADBE AEAutoTone

Video Filter missing: AE ADBE Object Tracking

Video Filter missing: AE ADBE Temperature & Tint

Video Filter missing: AE ADBE Vibrance

Video Filter missing: AE NWBL-Stabilizer-AE

Why is the Premiere Pro file frozen, and how do I correct the problem?   Thanks Joe

That's because you used effects in Premiere Elements that are either not compatible or available with Premiere Pro.

Fortunately I still had Premiere Elements 14 on my previous laptop.   I was able to open the project, delete all the chapter markers and video and audio fades, save it under a new name, and now it opens right up in Premiere Pro.   However, the timeline comes in as a single object.   I had used File/Open Project to load the Premiere Elements project.     Is there a different method that would load the timeline as all the individual still images and video clips as in the original Premiere Elements project?   Thanks  Joe

Found the solution by trial-and-error.   In Premiere Pro Right Click the sequence object in the project panel, selecting "Open In Timeline" in the drop down box loads the sequence to the timeline in its original individual parts.   Originally I had just dragged the sequence to the timeline, which loads it as a single object.  Joe
