Problem with Auto-Captions Language — Dutch Option Gone

Hi, I’m currently making a video for my internship and I live in the Netherlands. For my previous video, I was able to add automatic Dutch captions by selecting the language, which worked perfectly.

However, for this new video, I no longer see the option to select a language for the auto-captions — which is strange, because I could do it last time. When I try to translate the captions now, it only translates from English, even though my video is entirely in Dutch.

I really prefer not to add the captions manually, as the video is about 30 minutes long and that would take too much time.

Is there a way to fix this or manually set the language to Dutch for auto-captions?

-Note: No i dont have any plugins installed...

@Obsidiannobodyy,

The language is selected when doing the Transcription.

If you have auto-transcription turned on, you must set the language in preferences before you start:

Edit -> Preferences -> Media Analysis & Transcription.

To Re-transcribe, select the media file(s) in the Project Panel, right-click, and pick Re-transcribe.
