Problem with Captions & Morph Cut in Premiere Pro

I use the latest version of Premiere Pro on the latest version of Mac.

I’m having an issue with captions and transitions in Premiere Pro:

My subtitles appear as brown boxes in the timeline instead of the usual yellow (which I think means they’re not Open Captions).

When I upgrade captions to graphics, they appear purple, which is fine, but I want to apply a Morph Cut transition between them. Morph Cut works when I apply it manually, but I can’t copy and paste the Morph Cut transition to multiple clips — I’d like to apply it to all at once.

Hi @mohammad_9821,

Did you recently update your Premiere Pro? The subtitles seem to be the default color for 2025 versions on your screenshots, but you can change the default color for labels under Preferences > Labels.

If you want to apply transitions to multiple edit points, first copy the transition you want, and then hold 'Command' and click and drag in your timeline to select all the edit points (they will highlight red) you want to apply the transition to and then paste. You can also 'Command + Shift' click to choose multiple select edit points.

Hope this can help,
Dani
