Problem with Layer Blend Modes
Hi, first time here so go easy on me.
I have a problem I'm trying to solve with a work project: I created a white color matte for a scene to give it a white background, but I have layers above that set to transparency blending, and instead of treating the white like a background, it factors it in when blending. So for example, I have a blue square on a layer above the white matte, and if I set the blue square to Color blend mode, it shows all white (instead of, say, just staying blue when I have a project in Illustrator, because in Illustrator there's a white background but no actual white object). I have looked everywhere and can't find that there's any option in Premiere to lock or exclude blending like in Photoshop or After Effects, and I can't find any other posts about this same issue. And of course, the white matte is the only way to get a white background.
Any suggestions?
