Problem with removing the background.

Hello,

I’m filming myself against a green screen, with a table in front of me and objects on that table.

When I remove the background using Adobe Express, it successfully removes the background but also removes the table in front of me and sometimes the objects on that table.

The cutout elements always have a very thin green outline. When I add any background, it doesn’t look very clean.

I’ve tried different lighting setups and filmed myself both close to the green screen and far from it (1.80 meters). The result is the same.

If I subscribe to Adobe Premiere Pro, will I be able to fix all these issues?

I’ve gotten the hang of Adobe Express—is Adobe Premiere Pro easy to use? Keep in mind that for now, I just want to shoot a video against a green screen, remove only the background, add an animated background using Adobe Firefly, and edit the video using multiple shots with cool transitions.

Thank you in advance.

Succesfull keying all depends on the quality of the image (color depth, lighting...)

You will have to try Premiere for your self. Trial version is for 7 days.

    Hi authentic_Canvas92f1,
Welcome to the community! As Ann Bens suggested, keying quality depends on several factors, such as color depth, fine details, and lighting. These factors can make it difficult to achieve a perfect key in a single pass. Premiere provides several controls to fine-tune the process. For example, with the Ultra Key effect, you can adjust Matte Generation to refine transparency, Matte Cleanup to improve edge quality, and Spill Suppression to reduce unwanted green reflections on the subject.
You may refer to this link to learn more about keying in Premiere.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Sumeet
