Problem with saving project files

So I updated Premiere Pro from 2017 to 2018. When I finish a project and go to "save as" it saves but when I want to open the same project again, it opens but there's nothing on the timeline, like I just created the project but on the files panel appears all the files I've uploaded.. I need help !!!! plus, whenever I open premiere it creates this weird file i've never seen before called "AMDrequestdb" I don't know what it is

    Hey!  Was this ever resolved for you?  It just popped up for us and we're running CC2020

    Double-click the sequence in the Project panel to open it.

    Okay, double-clicking does solve the problem of restoring the timeline.  However, every time I use "save as", the screen just goes black and I need to open the project again - and restore my template.  How can I fix this issue?

    The black screen, I'm not sure.  I can't duplicate the issue here on Windows 10 Pro (1703).
