Question

problem with the transition project effect

I'm using a project type transition.
It's a very simple transition.
I've opened the project in Premiere Pro but when I view the effect in the timeline, one of the adjustment layers where the zoom out effect is applied generates four frames of the second image.
I've checked the properties of that adjustment layer but I don't see any option to correct the problem.
If anyone has any similar experience with this type of transitions, I'd appreciate some help.
I'm attaching an image of my work panel where you can see the four frames of the image.

To resolve the issue with the transition project effect, select the Adjustment Transition layer above the second image and make sure all the effects are enabled.

It should look like this:

It looks like a bunch of presets stacked into multiple adjustment layers —

Which is problematic in many ways:

  • You don't know what the effect is doing exactly,
  • It's hard to make any adjustments or corrections to the effect
  • It's generally slow to render
  • They are not always on par with different project resolutions and aspect ratios.

I'd recommend checking out 3rd party plugin manufacturers that offer native video transitions.

You can tell by the way they look:

Film Impact plugins are my favorite transition effects for Premiere Pro — Others are Boris FX and Red Giant.
