Problems with Canon Cinema Raw Lite
I have the latest version of Premiere Pro (15.0.0 Build 1) and am having difficulties editing and rendering video shot on Canon cameras in Cinema Raw Lite.
This footage is either 4K or 8K, and I have Premiere's ingest settings set to Copy and Create Proxies and the preset to H.264 Low Resolution Proxy. When importing footage into Premiere with these settings, Adobe Media Encoder thows a bunch of errors that look like this:
- Source File: E:\Video\TestCanonR58K\035A4983.CRM
- Output File: E:\Video\TestCanonR58K\Pr2\035A4983_Proxy.mp4
- Preset Used: Custom

- Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo
- Bitrate: VBR, 1 pass, Target 10.00 Mbps
- Encoding Time: 00:00:05

Sometimes Media Encoder just hangs and has to be killed with Task Manager and sometimes it just crashes. It has never run to completion on these raw files.
I can edit the footage in its native 8K or 4K state, but needless to say doing so is very sluggish.
Is this a known issue? Is there a fix or workaround?
