Program Monitor black

Hi.  My program monitor is black and will not display what's in the timeline unless I put it in Multi-Camera mode, which then means I get a duplicate display.  At least I can see it then but not sure what happened to cause this all of a sudden.  I am working on a MAC laptop and the operating system updated to macOS Sierra version 10.12.3 several days ago.  Not sure if there is a relationship or not.  Anyone have any ideas out there?  I am a newer convert to Premiere Pro, so still learning.  This doesn't help when things change up and I've no idea what's going on.  Hoping I haven't done something to cause this.  Any ideas?

    same problem here. You sure don't go out of problems to throw at us eh?

    windows 10 latest with CC latest and gpu driver latest
