Issue: When I'm using a two or more monitors set up and I send any media to be exported in Media Encoder, but this is not previously opened, the Program Monitor panel and any other panels that are attached to it disappear.

Steps to Reproduce: This happen almost everytime I send something to be exported in Media Encoder.

Expected Result: All panels should remain visible when sending an export to Media Encoder.

Actual Result: Program Monitor panel and every panel attached to it just vanish. This means that they are gone, not minimized, just gone. So I have to change the workspace and come back to it so it can be fixed. Really anoying.

Premiere Version: I’m using Adobe Premiere 26.3.2 (build 2)

Operating System: I’m on windows 11 Pro 25H2

GPU Driver (Windows only): I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER (16 GB) with the NVIDIA Studio driver version 616.56 Wed Aug 26, 2026

Video Format: the issue it’s not related with an specific codec or format, it does happen with any configuration.

The problem started happening many versions ago, I can’t tell exactly when or in which version. It happen across many devices and I could confirm the same issue with other Adobe users I know personally.

Hi there @talented_operator8639,

Thanks for the report. As a workaround, try Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout. That should restore the Program Monitor and any other panels that disappeared.

Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin
