Program Monitor shows a negative image

Why is the Program Monitor displaying a negative image?  I have a new install on a new computer, going from a WIN10 to WIN11 machine.  WIN10 was fine.  In the PM settings, it is set for composite video,  resolution ½ (tried others). This is the first project and first opening of Premier, with the first source video I put in.   I have not made any changes. I tested export or the source clip and the rendered video looks fine.  Stumped.

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
There have also been reports in the past that the latest driver is not the best driver

Thank you. The Win update was where I had to do Rufus work around the MS limits on Ryzen chips and it blew out the driver.  I found the exact Studio driver (the G force pack was not the right one as you pointed out) and after an Uninstall of MS Basic in safe mode, it worked.  First time in the community and it’s great responses from you!

Since it’s a new Windows install (a clean install I hope and assume), then do check your drivers and such, as per @John T Smith‘s comments. On the PP front try a new project. Open PP with the regular icon, not from a project file, then create a new project and import a known clip and drop that into the timeline, see what you get.

Also, did you transfer all your preferences and keyboard shorts from the old machine?
