Project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements.

I'm getting this for EVERY SINGLE PROJECT I have right now, including trying to open auto-saved projects. I've tried using past versions of Premiere and they still won't open. I can't do ANY WORK right now because of this issue. Can someone please help?

Hi matthewj48524268,

Sorry to hear about this. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, try these steps & check if it's working properly

  • Create a new project & navigate to Window > Workspaces > uncheck Import Workspace From Projects.
  • Once done, navigate to File > Import & import the project you were working with.

Let us know if it helps.
Note: Moving the thread to Discussions to continue troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Sumeet

The "IMPORT WORKSPACE" was not checked in the first place. And when I tried to import a project, I was met with the same issue.

Have you tried resetting Premiere preferences maybe?
