Project File Now in Newer Version

I have a project that I edited a while ago which is in picture lock but doesn't yet have music and sound design, etc. I tried to open the project to resume editing it and it says that it was made in an older version of adobe premiere pro. I believe it was 2023. When the file converts, the film is no longer edited in the timeline. How do I fix this or get the 2023 premiere pro version back?

Try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Thanks for the question. Are you double-clicking the sequence icon in the Project panel? If so, show us a screenshot of your Project panel, and we'll try to help you further. Sorry for the frustration.
