Project Manager Didn't Package Anything

Dear all,

I want to package a Premiere Pro file for an 8-minute video to share with my teammate. Usually I use the Project Manager and package all the clips so that others will have the files I was working with.

When I tried to package the file, it took a very long time, even after I deleted the media cache from Premier Pro. Secondly, after it was packaged and showed it was finished, there was no folder in the destination that I chose. It is quite weird, because usually when I package a Premier Pro file, I remember that it will show a copy_foldername in the destination where all the clips and audios that I used in the files are. This is my first time encountering this issue while packaging and I'm not sure why.

In my Project Manager, I chose the Sequence that I wanted to package and check the "Collect Files and Copy to New Location". For the Options, I checked "Exclude Unused Clips", "Inluce Audio Conform Files", and "Rename Media Files to Match Clip Name".

If anyone has a similar issue and was able to fix it, please let me know how to fix it as I wanted to share the files with my teammate so we can work on the project deadline.

Thank you.

Karen

Hi @Karen JR,

What were the source files? Were they H.264? Long GOP clips cannot be consolidated, so that may be at the heart of this issue. Please let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

The source files are mp4 videos that I shot. I set the export setting to H.264 but I'm not sure where to check the original clips if they are H.264.

I'm not sure about what you mean by GOP clips though.

I had a similar issue with another Premiere Pro file but I solved it by copying the clips to the new sequence. However, this specific file that I have a problem with still cannot export the whole package.
