Project Manager doesn't copy linked Character Animator projects?

Question

I have had a few Premiere projects with linked Character Animator scenes. I will use the project manager feature to archive the project, using the "collect files and copy to new location" setting. While the project manager tends to find linked .aep's and .ai's, the linked .chproj files don't seem to get copied.

As long as I notice, I can always copy the missing projects and add them manually... but this seems like a bug?

Thanks for the feedback. Did you try PlumePack ? It's a third party plugin for Premiere Pro which can consolidate your project. The "Collect & Copy" feature is FREE ! There is a Premium version also, but for those who want more sub options, especially "Trimming without re-encoding" (= removing unused frame but keep the same codec, exact quality, metadata). We don't know a lot about .chproj use in Premiere Pro, but if you have any issue about elements which would be not copied, please contact us and we will fix that quickly !
