Project Manager Error with Sound Effect Files in Premiere Pro
Hi everyone,
I'm encountering a recurring issue with Adobe Premiere Pro that I hope someone can help me with. Whenever I try to use the Project Manager to collect files and trim a project, I get the following error message:
"Project Manager Error: The following file could not be found during the Project Manager operation..."
The error lists an audio file path that seems to be causing the problem. What’s strange is that the file links correctly in the project, and it plays back perfectly fine during editing. However, this problem seems to always occur specifically with my sound effect files across multiple projects.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far to troubleshoot:
- File Format Change: I've converted the files from WAV to MP3, thinking it might be a format issue, but the problem persists.
- File Relocation: I’ve moved the files to different locations on my hard drive, but Premiere still throws the same error during Project Manager operations.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? I’m looking for a way to either prevent this error from happening or a workaround to successfully complete the Project Manager operation without losing my sound effect files.
Thanks in advance for your help!
