Proxies "relink others automatically" stopped working

Previously this function was working for me when trying to batch relink proxies. Now, it has suddenly stopped and Premiere is only relinking one proxy at a time, despite all proxies being in one folder and all proxies having corresponding names to original footage. "File Name" under Match File Properties is clicked as well as "Relink others automatically" and "Use Media Browser to attach files." Can't understand why this started happening out of nowhere and can only assume it's a bug?

    I've been having this problem for months, even with everything updated. 

    I'm currently relinking almost 500 files individually.

    This problem has been reported here several times and so far nothing has been done. Tired of Premiere.

    Hi @isabel_1148,

    Thanks for the question and welcome to the forum. More than one person seems to be having this issue lately. Did this start happening at a random time, immediately after updating, or has this persisted across the versions? Can you show us a screenshot of your Link Media dialog box? I hope we can help you here. Sorry for the problem.
