Proxy files are attached but when I toggle them it says media offline

Since I updated my software proxies have not been cooperating. Using 22.4, I created my proxy files and they show up as attached in my project window metadata. However when I toggle proxies on it says the media is offline. I can't figure it out-any help would be great appreciated!
