proxy ingest files Real-time doubt

Hello I worked for a big project in premiere cc 2015 at that time it don't have proxy files just drag and drop the 4k files it plays real-time, but now I have a doubt ,i have to use ingest files or directly I can use the 5k footage and Start edit which is the best option...can any one please suggest me...
