Purple & Green lines Lead to Dropped Frames

Hello,

My videos keep having purple and green lines whenever I try to edit. I tried the following:

Project settings >> General >> Render >> Mercury Playback Engine Software Only

Which seems to remove the visible problem, however, it causes another issue, which is a lot of dropped frames within the video.

I tried: Sequence >> Render In to Out, but it takes up to 3.5 hours because the video I have is about 1:12 hrs length.

Is there a permanent solution for the purple and green lines that can help in tackling the problem from the roots?

Thank you very much, I used that options, it led to another problem which is many dropped frames that turned my entire editing to a red line! Is there a way I could fix this issue from the source?

You can fix the red line by turning on MPE hardware.

Did you update the driver?

Do you need to render the entire sequence? You could render just the sections where you don't want any frames dropped.

Yes, the entire 1:12 hrs is marked as red =( !
