Questions about Time Remapping

  • Is there a shortcut setting for show clip keyframe > Time remapping > Speed ?
  • Is there a way to remove Time Remapping keyframes like removing clip speed/duration with Ripple Edit (cmd+R) ?
Because what I'm currently doing is taking a match frame clip (F) and then inserting it back into the timeline without speed/time remapping. But I have to do it one by one for all the clips.
If I use Remove Attributes with Time Remapping, but this cannot use ripple edit like remove with clip speed/duration (cmd+R)

  1. There isn’t a built-in shortcut to directly show Clip Keyframe > Time Remapping > Speed. You’ll need to access it manually by right-clicking the fx badge on the clip.
  2. At the moment, there isn’t a way to remove Time Remapping and have the timeline ripple automatically. Since Time Remapping works through keyframes rather than changing the clip’s duration directly, it doesn’t support ripple behavior when removed.

Cmd+R doesn’t perform a Ripple Edit — it opens the Speed/Duration window.

Setting the speed to 100% in that window will only reset speed changes made using Speed/Duration, not Time Remapping.

To remove speed changes created with Time Remapping, use Remove Attributes:

  • Select the clip(s)
  • Right-click and choose Remove Attributes
  • Check Time Remapping and click OK

You can also assign a custom shortcut for Remove Attributes to speed up this process.

Both methods support batch selection, so you can apply them to multiple clips at once.

Yes, I understand what you explained. But you didn't answer my question.
Let me simplify my question,

  1. What is the shortcut to display keyframe > Time remapping > speed? (not remove atributes shortcut)
    2. There is a way to remove Time Remapping but also ripple edit? So the clip will not be cut if there is another clip next to it.
