Random audio loss on exported videos

Like many, I'm editing from home now, instead of at my workplace. The last two videos I've produced have had the same problem. A small percentage of people can only hear one track of audio-- in both videos, they can hear the music, but not the voice track. And it's random. The same person can have the problem on their phone, but it plays fine on their laptop. Sometimes it won't work on someone's desktop or laptop, but it works fine on their phone. This has never happened, and the issue must be with the laptop I'm editing with at home. Has anyone else had this problem, and what can I do to correct it? We pushed a voting saftey video last week that had this issue, and about 1-in-10 people had this problem.

This did the trick! Thanks. Although I wasn't using an XLR to 1.5 for any of these shoots, I did use one on the same camera for a previous shoot. Thanks again to all for the help!

Try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

Thanks. I have tried that, and unfortunatley, the issue persists.

Check your sequence and export settings. You are likely not editing in stereo.

Thanks. I did check both the sequence and export settings, and both were set to stereo.
