Random transformation applied when pasting text

When I copy and paste text from an xml file into my sequence, for some reason, a transformation is applied for scale and positon. When I try to scale the text after in the video, it moves down when scaled up. How can I make it so the transformation does not happen when pasting?

I wonder if the attributes are coming from the XML, or a default or other setting in PR.

 

To test, after copying from the XML, paste into Notepad (or similar for Mac). Then copy from there.
