Re: Adobe keeps crashing when I drag a clip onto timeline

I know this is an old thread, but this kept happening to me yesterday.  I was trying to drag TIF files and TIF image sequences to the timeline and Premiere Pro 2024 24.4.1 would crash and close everytime (I had also tried older versions with the same result).  I converted all of the TIF files to PNG and no more crashing.  Weird.

Hey there,I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Do you also see this issue in Premiere Pro 24.5? For clarification, you are working with a TIFF (Tagged Interchange Format) image sequence; is that correct? If you also see this problem with Premiere Pro 24.5, please share the image sequence, though a private message is possible. I'll try to replicate the problem and inform the engineering team if required.
