Re: Adobe Premiere Pro Is Lagging

Having the same issue with stuttering upon moving footage to timeline or attempting to play through sections. Not using overtly large files. Tried using footage stored both on the SSD or good old spinny disc backup boi with no changes. Rolling back to an older version to see if that helps. New to the adobe world and video editing as a whole but After Effects works like a dream (To the extent I am able to utilize it) but I had always assumed that would be the laggy one.
Specs:

Windows 11
Intel i9 -13900
Nvidia RTX 4500 ada x2

Samsung 9100 PRO 4TB SSD

Western Digital Black 10TB HDD

128 GB DDR5 RAM

Side note. I do use this PC for development also but on a separate boot system (Second Samsung SSD partitioned for Ubuntu and another install of Windows 11) I doubt that it would influence anything but maybe?

Check the Audio Hardware Preferences. Default Audio Input should be set to No Input.

    Hi,

Sorry for the issue. Could you share what type of media you're editing? It will be helpful to know if you see the performance issues with specific file types. Users run into issues related to playback stutter while editing variable frame rate media. I recommend transcoding one of the files using Handbrake and importing it into a new project to check if the problem persists.

This post was branched from an old thread.

    Thanks,
