Over a year later and there's still no solution to this fundamental issue that renders this feature unusable. I swear Adobe is just begging us to switch to Resolve at this point.

    I'm sorry to hear about this. I've branched your reply from an older post to look into this issue. Please let us know which version of Premiere Pro you're using. Do you see this issue with a specific file type? If possible, please also share a sample project and source file to replicate the issue. That would help us better understand the problem. You can do that by uploading the files to any files sharing service like Google Drive or Dropbox and sharing the link through a personal message.
