Re: Clips remain choppy and laggy despite green bar [Branched]

I have a brand new HP ENVY I can build and render graphics using CINEMA 4D and Blender without issue. I am trying to edit a simple 1-2 min video some 4k footage and 1080 footage. I've rendered the sequence in to out and tried changing the rederer. I've tried just about everything the community says to try and I still am having laggy and choppy video. I am to the point I am ready to just use Imovie or something else to edit this video. 

Anyone have any real solutions for this?
