Unfortunately it's a known bug in Premiere Pro that Adobe has chosen not to address. It seems to appear and disppear with updates. It's why I'm evaluating DaVinci Pro as an alternative because for my work it makes PP unusable.

      Was already set to frames.

       

      I isolated the problem. I use Crossfade as my default transition. If I have a clip with a transition at the end to another clip and add the Distort -> Warp Stabilizer effect, the 2nd to last frame of the outbound transition is black/blank. If I render the sequence, it fails and points me to the start of the transition. If I shorten, or lengthen, that outbound transition by a single frame, the black/blank frame disappears and the sequence will render with no problem. I tested with several other transitions and only Crossfade fails, so I changed my default transition to NewBlue Dissolve and no longer have the problem.

      I had the same GPU render error, caused by the warp stabilizer.
      After checking my sequence I also had 1 black frame at the end of the clips with a warp stabilizer on it.  

      My simple solution is: 

      - put the clip on another track so you can...

      - ... make it a few frames longer (theoretically 1 frame will do but I always did 5 or so...)

      - re-analyse the clip in warp stabilizer. 

      - with the razor tool, make a cut where the clip originally ended. 

      - delete the last part that you just added. 
      ( - if you want, put the clip back on the original track)

      done. 

       

      The black frame will dissapear, and the GPU render error will also be gone.

      Can I ask if anyone has found a solution to this error? I also have the same problem when upgrading to Premiere Pro 2025. When adding the anti-shake effect, it is normal, but when I turn off Premiere Pro and turn it on, the red color appears. It is only resolved when I turn on the shake effect, then the red color disappears.

      I found a work around,

      I duplicated the clip for the last frame, deleted the warp stabiliser effect then matched the zoom and position so its not noticable.

      Hi there,

      I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Could you let us know what type of source files you're working with? Please also let us know if you use a Windows or Mac system. If you go to File > Project Settings > Color and uncheck the Auto Detect Log Video Color Space option, do you still see the issue?

      Working with HEVC MOV files (4K, 59.96fps) from a Panasonic HC-X20 at 200Mbps. Auto Detect Log Video Color Space is already unchecked. I found a work around that's frankly not worth the effort; stablization works if I shorten the out fade transition by a single frame.
