Hi Peru Bob, I just saw this. I was coming on to ask a question. Do you know if it was causing glitching issues druing playback? That is an issue I just started having last week. I did this update but still seeing issues.

Try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

I have to say, I'm scratching my head. Not sure how input has anyting to do with playback but it appears the issue is fixed. It started this last week where I would hit the space bar and the audio and video would studder for .5 to 2 seconds before playing normal. I have tried numerous sequence settings, upgrade to graphics, and more. I have been looking all over for an answer and came here today to ask the community. Thanks!
