re opened an old project and sound is not showing up

hello everyone..i am lost...and mad

thats 2 in a row...i reopened an old project and the sound is gone...the track is still there but the wave form is flat and no sound is coming out

if anyone can help me on this i would really appreciate

If the solution offered by Ann Bens doesn't work, try Sequence > Render audio.

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.
