Re-sync audio and video

I did a slight mistake. My film is almost finished but i tried to "subframe edit" some audio part. Now a lot later I notice that all my audio has shifted relative to the video files in a sequence by a few milliseconds. Half of the sequence is affected. How can I put audio back in place? I cannot select "syncronize" from the menu as its greyed out. Is there a way to move all audio clips by a certain milliseconds-amount? Or can I resync in the timeline?

Correct answer R Neil Haugen

Lock everything else, separate the audio track, use the track-select-forward operation while selecting the first clip.

With the Timeline units set to Audio Units, move that audio.

Thanks @R Neil Haugen , you are great! 🙂 I found out that I can use the numpad to move the cursor by milliseconds as well. So it was an easy fix. I thought that it was somehow possible to realign linked video and audio tracks automatically when they are out of sync but maybe I was wrong with that..

I've ... personal experience, with this scenario .... yea ... been there, felt really really annoyed with myself ... but ... got it fixed.

So yea, I know how to both screw this up, and how to recover. Sigh.
