Ready to Play

All in all, the focus should be in the Sequencer pane (Timeline), when the project opens. So that opening a project and pressing spacebar, the project would be ready for playback. Thanks!

Hey now, that was a relevant comment based on the user experience, but now it seems that the issue was not the feature, and thus you can ignore that comment. Besides, this is a user forum, I was only trying to contribute to improving the product. Thanks.

Amazing how a user requested feature, which was already there, could bring the whole 'brand' down?

I'm wondering how you want it to work differently than the current - which I like the way it is.

I have "Windows -> Workspaces -> Import Workspace from Projects" set. My project opens with the same workspace, the same sequences in the timeline, and (I think) the same panel in focus. Most times if I hit spacebar, the timeline plays - the last sequence in use, playing from the last playhead position.

I would NOT want the sequence to reset to the beginning. I can hit home for that.

I open my project, the Project Panel is selected, I press <Space> and the timeline starts playing.

So, the user opens a previously saved project file that already contains a sequence and some program video, and presses Space Bar.

Can you detail your request? I'm afraid I may not have understodd what you were asking for.
