Really annoying bug - clicking into a different sequence causes playhead to jump

This is on Premiere Ver. 22 (build 169).  OS is Mac Monterey 12.0.1

 

I have various sequences of selects (my favorite shots).  When I click from the cut I'm editing on, to my sequence of selects, Premiere continuously returns my timeline to the beginning of the sequence.  These sequences are fairly long and going back and finding the area I was working in is a major waste of time.  

 

Anyone else experiencing this

sometimes it's faster just to figure out a workaround.  Maybe mark an in on your sequence and then just "go to in" to jump back to where you want to be.  Adding a marker to the sequence might also work...   Were you seeing this behavior in a previous version of Premiere?
