Question

Recent Project NEVER the most recent version

Everytime I open the project hoping to resume from my last session, it NEVER picks up from the last save point despite me smashing ctrl S.

A very annoying bug, I am forced to go into the autosaves and dig it up from the grave,

Why is this happening? Any fixes?

Try doing a 'Save As' in Premiere. Also, try making a dupe of your project in the OS, see if you get at least the same project as you quit.

I will check the preferences thank you.

I just open either from the window that pops up showing recent projects or from the file on disc.

So you know when you start Premiere it offers you recent projects? I select the main project file from there. But actually, it does not display the most recently opened project in that order often. I have to scroll to the most recent one.

When I posted this, I started to open the file directly from file explorer on PC. However, same issue! The autosave was the most recent one. Crazy.

I agree with Stan, that sounds bizarre; we've never seen that behavior.

How are you opening that project? Do you have PPro's prefs set to open most recent projects, at launch?

That is odd. Are you opening PR first, and then picking the last project? Or are you selecting the project file and using it to open PR?
