Recover blown highlights in clouds

I am shooting in HLG2 and hoping that it captures that extra dynamic range.

So if I have shot HLG2 footage and the clouds are blown out how do I go about recovering them (similar to what we do in Photoshop/Raw files)? Presumbly the HLG extra dynamic range wil have kept the extra info for the clouds and shadows.
