Red Giant Magic Bullet Denoiser III VS Neat Video

Hello Everyone.

Shooting Cinema Raw 12 Bit with Canon C-200, I see lots of Noise. I do have the Magic Bullet Denoiser III, but it slows down the Premiere, and when I play with the slider I can't see the actual Denoise. What do you recommend, please?

Thank you very much.

I forgot to mention.

What works for me in Neat Video is the performance function that allows you to configure what is used for this effect. CPU or GPU, or both and also what combination of both and how much GPU use you would like to allocate...  By tweaking this combination I have seen fairly impressive time savings.

The DE:Noise option that was mentioned here looks like something I would like to test.

My experience with a number of effects has been that the interface has been much more responsive if I use aftereffects rather than premiere for them.    This has been particularly true for a variety of keying effects and for Neat.  I don't have the most highpowered machine so your milage may vary.

Download trials and find out for yourself.

Everybody has a different opinion

I use DE:Noise - RE:Vision Effects

In most cases you have to render first in order to get playback.

Hey,

I have tried both.

The Neat video version 5 has been amazing. Apart from better noise reduction in general it was much faster. I ran a few tests... Can't remember exact timings but it was so significant that I removed Denoiser and only using Neat video 5 now.

Hope this helps in terms of vouching for a comparison.

Thanks for the reply. I have a fairly strong computer:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.60 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

64.0 GB RAM.

Also, I struggle with Lagging, Slowness.

Thanks
