Red Komodo footage goes offline and won't re-link.

I'm experiencing an issue where Red Komodo footage will go offline, re-linking fails and returns a generic error, and when I try to just import the footage again, it says "unsupported format or damaged file." The files open fine with RED software, so I don't understand what the problem is.

I have cleared cache entirely, and re-linked the footage successfully, but after Premiere created new peak files and all that, it happened again.
