Red line across top of iMac when using Premiere Pro

I am getting a red line across the top of my iMac when using Premiere Pro, which has completely shut down the computer twice. I assume the computer is over-heating but I have found nothing online about this specific issue. Has anyone dealt with this?

@erikm2914693 There's nothing directly in Adobe applications that will cause the issue you're seeing; there's no functions in our apps that can make the menu bar go red. I would try two things:

Reset NVRAM/PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761
Reset SMC. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

If that doesn't help, I would contact Apple.
