I have been editing a video for quite some time now, but I have noticed a problem. All of my audio files have been extracted automatically, and because of that I can't use 'default transition' when I want to fade two tracks to avoid audio dips. I have never had this problem in my other Premiere Pro projects. Is there anyway how I can solve this problem, without having to start over completly? Thank you!
Audio files are not extracted automatically.
You must have done something like Edit in Audition or Render and Replace.
Even if the files are extracted, you should still be able to use transitions. Unless they have no handles.
To get the original files back if they are part of the video clip is to hit F.
This will bring up the original file: you now can use the original audio.
